The Emergency Medicine Research Program covers a wide range of topics related to emergency medicine and prehospital care. The program is particularly strong in the areas of Medical Education, Quality Improvement, Knowledge Translation, Simulation, and Health Services Research. Clinical research is conducted primarily within the Hamilton Health Sciences and St. Joseph’s Hospital groups, as well as at the Niagara and Waterloo regional campuses. The program is a leader in Medical Education, with several faculty members also holding a position as a MERIT member or scientist. Education research focused on both undergraduate and postgraduate education.
