PROVA Innovations and ImaginAble Solutions two of six finalists in 2021 AGE-WELL National Impact Challenge
Two of the six finalists for the 2021 AGE-WELL National Impact Challenge are Clinic @ Mac Resident Program alumni.
Matthew Rosato is the Founder and President of PROVA Innovations Ltd. PROVA is a medical technology company that specializes in wearable technology solutions for in-home GAIT training and rehabilitation. PROVA’s focus is to help patients with a brain injury, neurological disorder, degenerative disease, or mobility issue regain function through the promotion of neuroplasticity and neuromotor recovery.
Lianna Genovese is a Clinic @ Mac Residency Program and Health Ventures alumnus and Founder and CEO of ImaginAble Solutions. Her startup is an assistive technology company focused on developing Guided Hands™, an international award-winning assistive device that enables anyone living with limited hand mobility to write, paint, draw and use a touch-screen device. In late August Guided Hands™ also won the National James Dyson Award.
The AGE-WELL National Impact Challenge recognizes top startups in Canada’s technology and aging sector and supports entrepreneurship in this sector. Finalists will each deliver a five-minute pitch followed by a Q&A with a panel of expert judges.
The competition will be streamed online on October 7, 2021.
