Faculty within the Division of General Internal Medicine at McMaster University have leveraged the foundational work done at McMaster on evidence-based medicine to produce significant bodies of evidence in several fields, including perioperative medicine, thrombosis, metabolic and endocrinological disorders, and infectious diseases. With its excellent educational programs, and its involvement in pivotal expanding areas like Quality Improvement, Global Health, Social Medicine, Addictions, and Artificial Intelligence, the Division has the greatest potential for growing knowledge and translating it into a perceivable impact on patient care and population health. The Division looks forward to enhancing its contribution to a Brighter World.
