Dr Clase is a nephrologist and epidemiologist.  She is medical lead for the kidney transitional program, providing continuity of care to adolescents transitioning from pediatric to adult care. In the pandemic, she joined McMaster’s Centre of Excellence in Protective Equipment and Materials where she works on community education around cloth masks, and developing better cloth masks.

Research Interests: Advanced chronic kidney disease; potassium; diet; bleeding, thrombosis and anticoagulation; cloth masks.
